Most Helpful translated by Shakespeare

This translation is, for me, basically worthless. It must have been translated in the 17th century. There was a 9 word sentence that had the words thee, thine, thou, thy and a 9 word sentence! Glad it was only 2 dollars I wasted. If you love olde english this might be for you.

Some reviews said this was the Gregory Hayes translation. That's what I wanted, the contemporary, more relatable version.

Instead this is as dense as the King James Bible, full of overly-ornate "thee"s, "thou"s, and overly intricate sentences written more to make the translator feel smart than communicate the essence of Aurelius's work.
