Critica aguda de el periodismo como "actualidad".
Critica Unamuno al afán del periodismo moderno (allá en 1905) con "la actualidad" al punto de conformarlo todo a las noticias de "última hora". Pese al indiscutible valor económico de estar "al día" con los hechos del día, el cegato enfoque en lo más reciente resulta nocivao, porque reduce todo al último alarido de "la actualidad". Inevitablemente, las ideas quedan allanadas a vistas superficiales con pocas dimensiones, y opiniones fragmentarias, que no llegan a más que un comentario deportivo. Mas acertado hoy que nunca.
Mejor sin música.
