Chapter alignment is wrong

Wonderful novel and audio read, except that the chapters do not match those of the novel. This is problematic for use in my class, but may not be an issue for those listening for pleasure.

Easiest to follow...

Best to follow easily aloud of all versions I have found so far, BUT, at just under 4 hours (I think), I feel like a LOT has been removed.

Magnificent narration if a classic

Reknowned Shakespearean actor narrates a classic. Enough said. Listen at night...around Halloween...and a fire. Great stuff!

Perfect

It doesn't get much better than this. I love the story and know why it is a classic. Kenneth Branagh's performance is flawless.

The gentleman's science fiction in a lady's mind!

Eloquently written, the characters were 3 dimensional with depth. Frankenstein tortures himself unnecessarily. The details leave questions.

What version of the book as this.

I’m a teacher trying to use this in class to cover an abridged version of Frankenstein. I liked how it kept to the original texted, but obviously it was cut. I wanted to know what version of the text this was or where I could acquire the abridged version.

Great reading

Amazing story and amazing reading, only wish it was a longer version of the story.

The narrator did a marvelous job.

I loved this adaptation great job, bravo. I highly recommend this, especially for people who are not into the original text by Mary Shelly.

Love love love

This is one of my favorite books of all time. It’s one I read or listen to over and over again. This is my first time listening to this version and it was phenomenal. Kenneth Branagh is amazing at anything he does and this was no exception

This is an abridged version

Excellent performance; however, it is an abridged version I wish I had noticed it before beginning to listen.
