Publisher's Summary

Denis Stone, a self-conscious young poet, is invited to the English town home of Crome, renowned for its gatherings of intellectuals. Hosted by Henry and Priscilla Wimbush, the house party has much to offer the naive Denis. The guests include the self-contained Anne, whom Denis adores; the handsome artist Gombauld, his rival for Anne's affections; and the cynical Mr. Scogan. NOT Science Fiction!!!!!!!

I bought it because it kept being suggested to me when I was searching for classic science fiction because "Brave New World" is already in my library. Not bad for what it is & would be perfect adapted as a Broadway play; ThSt being said it isn't SciFi & not what I was looking for. I wouldn't have finished it if I hadn't already psyed for it.
