Could be my 70 yr old ears, difficult 2 understand

What disappointed you about Around the World in 80 Tales?

Same reader, and difficult to understand her heavy accent.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

See above. Also, limited inflection.

Loved the narration

Not sure why the strong reactions to the narration. I think it’s excellent!Strong accent (which I got used to quickly) but clear enunciation, appropriate cadence and spot on emotionality. Slowing the speed down to 0.8x helped me the accent issue.
Also enjoyed the stories which varied but generally lessons of morality, tales of bizarre and somewhat dark human experiences and fanciful tales of mystery.

Terrible

The reader is awful. Her cadence is atrocious. Don't buy this book. It's simply terrible.
