loved it
I enjoyed this book a lot. there's some life-changing information here. Be bold in your conversations and direct with people. I didn't enjoy the author's voice at first but got used to it very quickly. The end of the book drags a little bit but the information is just fantastic.

Game Changer
I have used the strategies in this book in my conversations at work, and the benefit was immediate. Given my tendency to be "nice," my message often gets diluted, so the tactics in this book have been a game changer for me.

PDF file should have bees included
The view was different from the normal conversation. It was empowering and when followed, will grow self-respect. The lack of an accompanying PDF worksheet was disappointing. I am hoping I overlooked it. We trained a group of 100 VPS and Manager with success.

Unfortunately Slow and very long
I was able to listen to this on 1.95x speed... the tone of voice was also draggy sounding and not welcoming or friendly. which might if been intentional? I wanted to get so much out of this book so I kept going to the end. Didnt throw the baby out with the bath water. There are some great points she makes. Everything might if been better if it was more condensed. will probably go back and listen to "The Chapter 4" again at some point.

Needs a PDF
I'm about halfway through the book and finding the information really helpful. The book would be great if only it has an accompanying workbook with the models written out. I enjoy listening to someone explain these types of models, but you need a list of the questions and the order in which to ask them for it to be really useful. Since at least in the printed book I can highlight a list of questions I'll probably order a copy. Unfortunately, this makes the book twice as expensive. :(

Insightful and thought provoking book
I found this book to be a great source of thought provoking ideas, actions and insights. I like the beachball concept - it has helped me become more thoughtful in dealing with people who operate very specifically in certain functions. They often have a very specific and focused view. Understanding that view can really enhance the dialog possible with them.
Overall just taking a new perspective on conversations as described here has been extremely helpful in improving my overall relationships in every aspect of my life.

Good and Useful Information, and Boring
This book has excellent ideas and useful information. The material is thought-provoking and helpful. However, the message could have been conveyed in half the time. Over-the-top on verbosity and useless rambling. Susan seems likeable and someone with whom I might enjoy having a conversation. I would suggest saving the stories for an autobiography.
