    PACKED WITH INFO

I disagree with the other 3 reviews. I have read many books and this one gives alot of information on different aspects of running a website. Provides many website url references among others and teaches you how to do and where to go to get the help on running your own website. It is very fasted paced though and I find myself stopping the audio often to write references down. Some topics include: selling information instead of products, ebay and other auctions, building your website and where to go, video and audio, wholesale and retail and many others. Good practical advice. I highly recommend.

A very practical guide... Well Done!!!

I must admit that because "money" isn't my primary motivator... I was somewhat dubious about the book because of its title. Advice to your readers... never judge a book by its cover or by a few detractors. Success will not "jump out of the book" and into people's lives without deliberate action!

I'm glad that I gave your book a chance! I will build a more successful business faster because I did. I view your book as a valuable and practical guide to Internet Marketing for existing and new businesses - by using what is already available online, affordable and oftentimes, free.

Your book shows what options and tools exist, where to find them... and how to use them to achieve very specific, well thought out goals. For that, I am eternally grateful. It was as if you knew what we needed to do, and took the time to research, document and prepare lessons and list examples that could help our business thrive - even during challenging economic times.

I believe that your common sense approach to internet-based business planning, marketing and sales success can help any business do more, better, faster for less. I look forward to putting your concepts into action and making a big splash soon.

    Thanks Joe and Jillian!

Because of your book, I know how to plan, do and achieve our important sales and marketing goals for a fraction of the cost that we originally planned. That was another great and welcomed surprise!

Where is the rest of the book?

Did anyone else have this problem? At about the last 20-30 seconds, Jillian introduces their next guest, Bill Harris and then the book ends. I looked online at the book's index and it appears several sections at the end are missing.
I downloaded it again and had the same thing happen.
As to the content of what I heard, I thought Joe Vitale had good suggestions for writing web pages. I gleaned a little something for my one credit, and it was motivational, but I don't know how much nuts and bolts info I was able to learn from this audiobook.

    I agree with previous reviewer

I agree - this book is some sort of mixture of motivational book for first-time entrepreneurs and a book concerning let say 'how to start your business for dimmies'. There are plenty of better books in each area. It is not wortwhile of prorposed price.

    Please Don't Read!

If you're going to be a competitor of mine in the online world, I would hate for you to read this.

The title is a little misleading, however, if you're looking for a guide to build a successful business internet operation, this is for you, especailly if you're not very computer savvy.

I've been listening to and reading a lot of Internet information lately trying to get my head around how the internet bussiness works, and Scott has managed to make a package that explains the internet from a business owners' (or owner to be) perspective. I would thoroughly recommend you read.

He also lists a lot of cost efficient places for those not very computer savvy to make it all work.

I'm rarely impressed, but I am for this one.

    Well done Scott.

    Not meant for audio

Although I have read over 20 books from Audible and plenty others elsewhere, I have never shared a review...until now. This book was so poorly put together that I have to warn prospective buyers to pass on this one. This book was NOT meant for audio. The book was very hard to follow and I had to stop after a a couple of hours. Read all of the other reviews and take our word for it...pass on this book.

    An Absolute Waste

While this is the first time I've been motivated to write a review, I have been an Audible subscriber for over five years and have listened with pleasure to many many books, both literature, business titles, and the occasional motivational program. While I wouldn't recommend everything I have chosen, I have never felt a selection was bad enough to strongly warn others away.
This book, however, is horrible. If I could I would rate it a zero. The title is misleading. The authors seemed to want to write a self-help motivational book, but must have thought a title involving internet businesses would sell better. In ninety minutes I have received no value from anything that has been said (a very difficult feat). It has been a retreaded list of poorly written platitudes from motivational programs (picture your ideal job--picture your ideal day --allow yourself to be successful). The comments on internet business have been useless and obvious to anyone who has been exposed to a cumulative two hours of business news or business periodicals in the last decade. I'm not kidding -- the most informative sentence thus far has been "76% of businesses (in a cited survey, not independent research) report having an internet presence has enhanced their business." I don't want to diminish my credibility as a reviewer by sounding too snarky, but I'm not pulling the worst thing I can find, that is really the most relevant item so far.
In summary, while I normally free ride and don't write reviews, the thought of someone else giving money to listen to something absolutely worthless motivated me to warn others away. Spend your credits elsewhere. If you are interested in this book, I believe Wikinomics or The Four Hour Workweek will help you think about internet businesses in a much more productive way than anything I have heard in this prize.
