Publisher's Summary

The right prop, used at the right time, can help you convey your ideas and assist your audiences in grasping and remembering your message, and may mean the difference between a learning experience and a learning ordeal. Used effectively, props become visual, auditory, or kinesthetic items that allow any audience to better experience your stories and reinforce your message. Even better, props become additional sources of revenue and can provide you with amazing marketing opportunities. Discover why Tim's unique use of toys and props make him one of the most popular and original presenters on the platform today. You'll learn:

How to use ordinary everyday items in extraordinary ways, and extraordinary items in ordinary ways
How Tim selects just the right prop to customize his programs to his audience
The fine line of which props are appropriate and which are not
Where to find your props
How to benefit from Tim's 10 years experience of choosing and using props on stage
PLEASE NOTE: This is a live recording of an interview-format teleseminar focused on information that would be valuable for speakers, trainers, consultants, coaches, and other information entrepreneurs. It was recorded via telephone.

Low quality phone interview, only for professional speakers

This 'audiobook' is a meandering conversation that was conducted on the phone for a podcast. The speaking quality is poor. Only a small portion of the 'book' covers how to use props but only in the context of professional speakers. I was hoping for guidance that I could use in Toastmasters speeches and found very little useful information. A significant part of the conversation revolves around selling props to corporate clients so the audience members can keep them as a reminder of the speech. Usually, interviews of this quality are available for free from the websites of professional speakers (e.g. Judy Carter).
