No content, dad jokes in sales environment

Felt like it was written by one bored character from Glengarry Glen Ross movie. What kind of sales does the writer have in mind? I was hardly waiting for this book (I even preordered it), but the whole thing was more and more disappointing with each new chapter.
I work in sales and I can tell you that it is nothing like this. Maybe back then when there was a lot of door-2-door sales-guys that were selling vacuum cleaners and similar useless stuff ... that era is long gone and if you want to fantasise about the good old days; this is the book for you.

Old-school sales

This book seems to be written from the point of you of an older sales person, I’m 26, and I am in a field sale position for a technology company, and most of this book seems to be leading people on in a different direction, a lot of the stories, and expectations that he talks about are not true, especially about the lifestyle and diet. Hey brags about how sales takes over your life, and make you a fat slob, not the case in today’s market, you can have a work life balance, left a bad taste in my mouth

Do yourself a favor and buy this book

If you’re in sales you need to read/listen to this book. It’s a reminder that those of us in sales are truly insane. But we’re not alone.

Great Book For Sales People

This book has some really funny parts and is truly written for sales people by making fun for everything frustrating about sales. Great listen if you have ever had a sales job.

Disappointing

Apparently it is primarily a book of humor that attempts to target “green peas” and veterans alike but misses the mark for both. Nothing of much substance. I probably wouldn’t be reviewing it if I had only spent about $4 on it. Sorry, I hate to be negative, but I feel pretty disappointed.

Not that informative

Book has silly what if scenarios and gives you a very basic guideline on sales while trying to be funny

Not really funny at all

Negative, not humorous i’m not sure what the offers were trying to accomplish but they certainly failed to do anything remotely positive or entertaining
