Felt like it was written by one bored character from Glengarry Glen Ross movie. What kind of sales does the writer have in mind? I was hardly waiting for this book (I even preordered it), but the whole thing was more and more disappointing with each new chapter.
I work in sales and I can tell you that it is nothing like this. Maybe back then when there was a lot of door-2-door sales-guys that were selling vacuum cleaners and similar useless stuff ... that era is long gone and if you want to fantasise about the good old days; this is the book for you.
A laugh out loud guide on how to navigate the tough road of sales, with practical advice peppered in. Don’t know if it’ll help close deals, but it was worth the listen.
