Worth the read.

I was looking for a book to give me insight into employee management and HR duties as a small business owner. The most helpful part was the chapter regarding evaluation reports, but it was all good information to know and consider.

good, could be longer.

The narrator was good I liked the honesty in the book and there are some really good pointers stood write down and try to remember

Great read for anyone in HR

I see myself reading this..well listening to this book often! The author compiles such great information, tips, and tools with each chapter! Great investment and worth more than the price paid!

I can’t recommended this book enough for those who are just curious about the inner workings of HR Mgmt, or the real HR professionals (like myself). This book is worthy and necessary to better understand your role and relationships with others from top to bottom. Narrator was especially effective. 👍

Frank Insight

This writer offers frank insight into HR roles and responsibilities. I appreciate his evaluation of the CEO personality.

An HR must-have!

Wolfe brings wisdom, personal insight, and passion in his work here. And while he doesn’t cover comprehensively everything there is to touch on, he covers what is invaluable to both novices and HR senior pros!

I can completely recommend this work and would buy it again.

Simple, left to be desired

The basis for this book is a very interesting, yet lacks execution. At times it can feel very demeaning, especially for someone who might just be starting off their Human Resources career. Overall, if you have experience with Human Resources of a year or more, I wouldn’t recommend.

The examples set fourth as problematic barriers in the work place feel very directed to women, so that was very unappealing.

this book was engaging and practical.

I've listened to it twice and I am ready to tune in a 3rd time. Each time I listen I learn something new. Every HR professional should have this book in their toolkit.

Will listen to over and over again!

I would highly recommend this book to college students going into the hr field, new graduates, or any one starting out in an hr role.

Though I highly disagree about the portion about winning a UC with a tribunal or for performance issues, most of the book is filled with gold nuggets of wisdom!
