What disappointed you about The Buying Brain?
This book has interesting concepts, but the author continually hammers on how great his research methodology is compared to standard customer surveys. Just when he starts talking about interesting ideas, he quickly reverts back to this refrain. This is like a puff piece whitepaper that tech firms post on their websites.

First part of the book ( dealing with the brain structure and functionality from a neuromarketing perspective) is a real masterpiece with lots of solid deep insights. The second part though is a pure marketing of the authors patented research and the services they provide in his company. Didn't regret it though.
And one additional thought, the narrator could have been much better.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, the book was very enlightening on a wide variety of marketing topics, and the narrator was very eloquent and interesting while doing so.
The insights into the world of neuro-marketing are well founded and well studied which makes the book all the more compelling!
The second half of the book is certainly marketing to us the services of the company but that is perfectly acceptable as the content is still high enough with it!
Cut out a few coffees this month and grab this book!
