    Excellent book

Whether you're interested in Fundamental or Technical trading, this book has snippets of wisdom for everyone. It won't tell you a particular stock to buy, but it will help you understand a variety of aspect of the market and help you define your philosophy of trading. Both the introductions and the readings themselves are enlightening. Very enjoyable listening!

    A solid choice

This book is both interesting and useful. It offers exposure to a wide variety of investing related topics. I believe most individual investors will find something useful in this book. If you are looking at some different investing books I recommend this one and Peter Lynch's "One Up on Wall Street". I recommend these two above "Forbes: Greatest Investing Stories" and "Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits (Philip Fisher).

    Different perspectives

Very interesting overview of different investment perspectives ranging from the pure horse sense approach to the almost esoteric analysis explained by the practitioners themselves. Excellent narration captures each individual style.

    Very Helpful Great narration!

Where does The Book of Investing Wisdom rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have owned this audiobook for a few years now. It was the first audiobook I purchased from amazon. I enjoyed the collective wisdom from the all star cast whose methods range from commodities, trading options ,shorting stocks and the Elliot wave theory method. Like the masters buffet and lynch I also enjoyed the lesser known authors and their methodologies. The collective cast of names along with their wisdom there is sure to be some benefit no matter what your investing strategy. A good listen and very well narrated!

    Old School Investing

Old school stories of investing. May want to stick with something more relevant. Still a good foundation of wisdom.

Cherry Picked the Worst Advice from the Greats

Having been an avid student of Warren Buffett (and his business partner Charlie Munger) and Peter Lynch's work, I have to disagree with what is considered 'wisdom' that Peter Krass cherry picked. The book is well written and the stories are enjoyable, but the ideas that he has narrowly cherry picked are self serving and frankly is dangerously advice.

"People are trying to be smart - all I am trying to do is not to be idiotic, but it's harder than most people think." - Charlie Munger. Peter Kass is trying very hard to be smart and 'wise'.
