Gilbert’s research suggests that 67 percent of middle managers break one or more of these rules. Based on 10 years of research and hundreds of interviews, Gilbert’s book is unique in featuring extensive comments from C-level leaders explaining exactly what they want and don’t want in a presentation, as well as mid-level managers’ stories of triumphs and tragedies and what they learned as a result. This is a must-have audiobook for surviving the high-stakes meeting.

NARRATE YOUR OWN BOOK!!
Would you try another book from Frederick Gilbert and/or Richard Waterhouse?
If the author narrated himself.
What was most disappointing about Frederick Gilbert’s story?
This is a book about public speaking yet the author will not narrate? Voice/tone inflection and non-verbals are a a HUGE part of communication, impossible for a narrator to present same quality and message if not author.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Richard Waterhouse?
The author, narrate your own book.
Any additional comments?
I liked the title and idea of book, I hesitated to purchase as the narrator was different from author. Unfortunately my hesitations were correct, 2 minutes into book and mind was wandering.
