Just a list of definitions.

A long list of terms related to project management, defined with no context or examples. Just definitions, that's it.

I purchased the audio book so I could listen to it on the way to and from work, but I believe I will be purchasing the print book since it is such a valuable reference tool. This book teaches you what project management is, all the strategies, techniques, procedures, analysis and includes different documents needed for project management and what needs to be on them. It tells you everything that is needed to produce a successful project from beginning to completion. It tells you what you need to produce to close the project, how to manage the people on the team, every conceivable step to a project, tools you can use and how to evaluate the project during and after it is done. The book details the qualities of a project manager and if you don’t have those qualities, how you can develop them. The book explains who does what in a team and where to find information needed to complete a project. I had no idea that there was so much to project management and this book will definitely help me to manage projects, and life in general, better

Project Management Demystified

Great overview of the field of project management! Highly impressed with the way this multifaceted discipline is broken into understandable and applicable segments. Comprehensive in scope. but not at all overwhelming, this book seems to be working to help the reader grasp the common-sense wisdom behind the various facets of project management. It breaks down each stage of a project, giving clear descriptions of what is involved and explaining along the way each document that is produced, each communication that is necessary, and the key relationships that are involved.

Anyone tackling a project of any size would benefit from reading this book.
