Wonderful!

As a 15 yr stylist, it's hard to find books in my profession that don't bore me! "Tell me what I don't know" or "I could have wrote that" is usually my response. This book was excellent in showing me where I'm on track, and where I have gotten off track, and what should be my next goal. Definitely a blueprint for those who want to have a successful career as a hairstylist.

A great and thought provoking read!

What made the experience of listening to Million Dollar Stylist the most enjoyable?

It was read by the author and that it made me feel like anything is possible

What was one of the most memorable moments of Million Dollar Stylist?

How the author spoke about how hair school doesn't teach you much and you really do have to figure out how to make a living doing hair. I am a salon owner, very busy stylist, and I'm an educator for the company that supplies the products for my salon. I chose to align myself with a company that shares my vision for continuous education and growth as working in the salon alone does not feed my brain and I need to constantly learn new skills and be exposed to new ideas to keep motivated and see business with fresh eyes. I have been thinking constantly about the concepts in this book since I read it.

What about Marquetta Breslin’s performance did you like?

You can hear the authenticity in her voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I could relate to the big goals mentality in the small town girl. I am also in a small town but I've got big goals!!!!

Any additional comments?

Thank you for sharing your story. This book has been added to my recommended reading list in a business program for salon owners a colleague and I are launching this year.
