Nothing New - But Great Motivational Speakers

Where does Midas Touch rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

If you've read the Rich Dad books then this book offers nothing new, but the hearing Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki talk about their ups and downs is very motivational for a young entrepreneur.
I now have Trump's acronym FOCUS (Follow One Course Until Successful) hanging above my desk and it is a constant reminder that keeps me on track throughout the day.

If all you want is good entrepreneurial advice, then there are better books out there. If you want some motivation to keep you going through the hard times then this book is great.

What other book might you compare Midas Touch to and why?

The Rich Dad series or any Brian Tracy book offers the same advice.

Which character – as performed by John Dossett and Skipp Sudduth – was your favorite?

I was particularly inspired by Robert's stories about the mistakes he made. I have made many of the same mistakes and his success motivates me to keep trying.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Never Say "Die".

Big League Success

Their are people who are successful at a grand level. Even picking a few nuggets from them will help towards your goals. These two guys are in the big leagues. The losses and struggles are beyond the basic day to day. It's predictive, preemptively calculated, and demonstrates incredible emotional control.

If the little things are weighing you down, there's no room in the big leagues for you. To me this book puts major success in perspective.

Highly recommend!

The Midas touch

Most memorable moment was when Donald trump said: "you're fired".
it teaches us on how to relate to all types of people in the B quadrant. That little things do matter and we have to own businesses with the motive to give something to others. Besides that it's has also have me insight about how you build your brand is directly assiosiated with the business.

Mostly typical Trump strutting

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, not time well spent. Actually, I quit listening about a third of the way through it as it was far from compelling..

Better than I thought.

I am a fan of the Donald and when I saw that Robert Kiyosaki was in the book I was a little skeptical. The book was better than I thought and I actually enjoy Robert in the book more than Donald. It have very little 'think your self to success' as both of them shared genuine struggles in their business careers. I would recommend this book pretty strongly if you already have a small library of business books. There are better books but this one is still worth a read.
