Very English

If you could sum up Is Counselling Training for You? in three words, what would they be?

Informative, and intriguing

What was one of the most memorable moments of Is Counselling Training for You??

No spoiler comments but I like the objectivity of the author, asking questions and sharing views more than telling and directing.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Geoff Barham?

Maybe, if the Author is male maybe. otherwise Geoff can be confusing cause he is almost using the same voice across all the different personalities of the book.

Any additional comments?

the Book is very British focused, which isn't bad if you live in England. it references a lot of associations and institutions in England that are irrelevant if you don't live there. other parts of the book are very valuable nonetheless.

A thorough and honest introduction to counselling

First of all, the narrator was very, very good. He read at the perfect pace and was very easy to listen to and understand.

My only criticism would be that, throughout, plenty of tricky terminology was used that requires the listener/reader to have some basic knowledge of psychology and/or counselling.

On the whole though, a very good overview of what to expect from a counselling course and I would recommend to those considering embarking on such a challenge.
