Basic information

Very basic info, but will help a new trader and for the money it's easily worth it to know the basics. If you have already read a book on the subject, no need for this one. This is a starter book.

A good way to learn about trading futures

CLinger is most certainly enamored with stocks, day trading, and the stock market. In this book he goes into excellently researched details about Trade Futures, and what you do with them. In other words, he explains everything in simple to understand text, and comprehensively details everything you will need to know about futures and the Stock Market. He crams a lot of information into a 38 minute audiobook.

Harris is smooth, easy to folllow, and never misses a beat as he tells you about the market and futures. I think they make a fine pair. I would suggest that if you do get this get some of Clinger's other books about stocks and trading.

cliffnotes to the cliffnotes. No substance

As a 10 year trader, I can say some information in here is dangerous. Especially at the end when the writer states something to the effect of... you now have the information you need to trade futures.

Things such as settlement, expiration and roll over are never explained. A lack of understanding any of these will lead to ruin in the futures market.

He talks about holding a oil (a one month, deliverable) contract, for mutiple months short and making 5 points. NEVER once stating the importance of rolling over or what happens if you held through expiration of the CONTRACT.

vague overview good for just getting your feet wet. just make sure to gain more knowledgebase before actually trading based on any of this information.

mostly anecdotal for this quick read.

Typos, mispronounced words. Not up to scratch.

Content is there, narrators execution led me to move on to other titles though.
