What did you like best about How to Sell a Business? What did you like least?
This book is a salespitch. A poor one at that. Mixed in with a handful of common sense, obvious and easily researched info points are infomercial-esque pitches for the company's service. It's incredibly unprofessional and annoying. I find it even harder to justify when the content is not only weak but padded... the author repeats the same points again in a "we'll talk about X, you'll learn about it, now let me explain X".
Would you recommend How to Sell a Business to your friends? Why or why not?
I recommend 30 minutes of Google research, engagement in any business for sale community or any other book. Not this one.
Was How to Sell a Business worth the listening time?
No. General, fluffed up content, minimal (if any) insights and an absolutely disrespectful amount of infomercial "call us at X, email us now at Y" pitches. Amateur and needy.
Any additional comments?
Audible is an incredible marketplace. Content like this, I'd expect to find on Kindle or in "ebooks"... not in the PROFESSIONAL and QUALITY marketplace of Audible.
