Publisher's Summary

You can get your point across in 30 seconds. Media research proves it. Television commercials capitalize on it. People are only able to give their full, undivided attention in 30 second "bites." Milo Frank, former CBS television talent and casting head, who teaches communication skills to the top executives of such Fortune 500 companies as AT&T, IBM and Bank of America, shows you how easy it is to get your point across in 30 seconds and get what you want. Whether you are writing a letter or memo, making a speech, asking for a raise or promotion, making a point, or closing a sale, How To Get Your Point Across In 30 Seconds Or Less is an invaluable training tool for both business people and professionals. You will be amazed at your enhanced effectiveness when you discover how to use the 30 second message to get exactly what you want.

A little dated in style but material is ageless...

Ok, I agree with some of the reviews---a little corny. But actually, this style is undergoing a revival so don't dismiss it too quickly---ala Mad Men?

I got a lot from this book. I needed to learn to shut the hell up and not talk so much. Make the point and shut up.

The book helped me with that. Buy it.

I learned nothing new.

I recommend books from Tony Robbins or John Maxwell instead, or even How to Win Friends by Dale Carnegie.
Wasted an hour and money.

if only this book had been 30 seconds or less

a real waste of money
at only 44 minutes long I struggled to make it to the end.
annoying sound effects and using different people to do 'audio quotes' made the listening experience painful. SO much so any useful ideas were lost to me.
if you buy the idea you need to be able deliver impactful messages in sales and/or management in 30 seconds, in principal this book is for you. So knowing you need to prepare, practice and ensure you focus of the key messages will be as helpful as this book will ever be and frankly a lot less annoying

Life changing

If you suffer from "talking too much" then this is the perfect audio program. Stop talking for the sake of talking.

There's great advice here that you can apply immediately.
