Really valuable information, very personable

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes absolutely, especially any woman who is early in her career and has a global passion. The "making it real" portion of each section really puts things in perspective and allows for one to project the content onto her own current situation.

Would you be willing to try another book from C. Perry Yeatman and Stacie Nevadomski Berdan ? Why or why not?

Yes absolutely. These women are outstanding role models and I would love to read more about their experiences. Especially in the way their perspectives sparked more research in the areas of culture shock and women in leadership roles, they have unique insights that young ambitious women can be inspired by. Also in the way that the book mentions gender and the impact it has on situations is crucial for women today. We know that these things happen, but not always what to do about them when working in America. To see how to respond to this in a less confrontational workplace like those outside of the US would be beneficial!

Which character – as performed by Gayle Hendrix – was your favorite?

Perry. It might be just because of her experiences, but I love the way she just owned everything. No matter what happened, she owned it and kept on her path. I admire and truly envied that about her the entire time.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hillary Clinton has been quoted saying, "Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world." Take a glimpse into why by going along the journey of six outstanding, hardworking, and ambitious women. These pioneers in their fields broke down workplace barriers, gender barriers, and international cultural barriers to deliver some of the most crucial results to organizations/corporations that allows us to maintain our lifestyles. They've impacted the world and they want to share their experiences to empower the women who want to follow a similar path.
