Publisher's Summary

As the workforce ages and younger trainers and managers emerge, facilitation skills take on a new importance and, with the increased use of social networks, new facilitation skills are needed. Written by two facilitation gurus, this book shows how to make any learning environment come alive. It outlines proven guidelines any trainer can use to unify groups, inspire creativity, and get audiences, teams, and colleagues to speak up, talk back, participate, and engage in meetings.

Excellent!

As a speaker and trainer for the last 18 year I can highly recommend this audiobook. It brings useful, practical, and actionable ideas.

Things like having three clear points to get across, and specific deeper levels of preparation are shown in context of real world facilitations.

Helpful book -- VERY well read by Ariana Savalas

If you have spent time with inept meeting conveners, this would be a great "secret" gift. Ariana Savalas does a great job of narrating, and I can only hope that she narrates more exciting content (although this is certainly helpful content). I am a university professor, and I think this book will have wide application to teaching/learning situations. Our students often refer to "Death by Powerpoint" and this is a great antidote to that.

Great for newbies, not much new for others

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The title, it is not fearless, it is just facilitation.

What will your next listen be?

?

Did A. Savalas do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

N/a

Do you think Fearless Facilitation needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, it should be extended or amended to include more for experienced facilitators, what else is there, what more can be done to stretch facilitation.

Any additional comments?

This is okay, nothing amazing, if you are new to facilitation, you'll find it great, for those who are more experienced trainers or facilitators will find little new here.
