Fairly good review on Cisco strategy but a little too over-the-top resulting in a thinly guised sales pitch for Cisco. Makes out that Cisco made mistakes in the past (2000) but is a perfect organisation now. Ironically, many of the strategies that Inder Sidhu highlights as being the pillars of innovation and success are the exact ones that John Chambers recently criticised and blamed for leading the company off track (2011). I did like the concept of Cisco-on-Cisco!
Very good book to understand how Cisco has become what they are today.... and a glimpse at what they strive to become. Competitors beware
