Improve your data science

What made the experience of listening to Data Mining the most enjoyable?

If you know what you're doing as a data scientist you will learn so many ideas that you'll for sure increase your models predictive power. a good overview for the semi-technical business reader. Explains the critical areas of Data Science with appropriate depth to understand concepts etc.

What about Judy Rounda’s performance did you like?

YES

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

NO

Any additional comments?

This book addresses the topic of Big Data in a practical, understandable manner. Some books are too technical or the authors seem to be learning as they go. These guys know what they are talking about well enough to really be able to explain it.

Well-organized text

This is an excellent textbook on data science. The text itself explains concepts and theories well and provides definitions, examples, and formulas that help the reader understand and apply these concepts. The information presented is well-organized, and the visual aids include ample graphs and charts. The only exception our instructor took with the text during my course was their insistence that only the best data scientists should be considered. Removing this bias, the information provided was clear, concise, and helpful for anyone working with big data or in data analytics.
