Publisher's summary

The internet is here to stay and will continue to evolve. With the introduction and chaotic accelerated growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), online threats will only become more sophisticated and malicious. A baseline comprehension of cyber self-defense is paramount, and proper cybersecurity hygiene is essential to protecting yourself, your family, and your business from hackers and to thwart virtual threats that have gone viral.

The technical components of cybersecurity can be tedious and intimidating, but this book series is authored for those who aren't tech gurus and need to learn powerful cybersecurity techniques quickly and easily, without the intimidation of tech jargon or lofty terminology.

Excellent start to my cybersecurity education!

This book gave me a little more than the basics and equipped me with the basic understanding of the subject matter. I start a cyber certification program Monday and i feel i have a good base to begin my journey.

Very elementary analysis of cyber security

101 is a very appropriate title for this work. It is useful to a senior level cyber security professional in that it brought me back to the "average user" train of thought. I was looking for "normal" user level language to help me to speak to my non-technical user base about security and data protection even though the language herein is rudimentary for me (since I have many years of technical experience). The reading, however, was often choppy and sometimes even robotic sounding.

Great too level review of Cybersecurity

This book is a great resource to help you get a general understanding of cyber security. Some of the threats that are out there in the evil empire (internet). I would highly recommend you give this a listen to have some background especially if you're getting ready to sit through a cybersecurity workshop. After going through this resource you should have a basic understanding of the terms and the common phrases used in the cybersecurity conversation circles.

Not Helpful

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This Audiobook is filled with jargon and buzz words but never goes in depth in explaining the 5 "W"s. It will only serve to confuse you further

Would you ever listen to anything by James Scott again?

No

What didn’t you like about Kelly Rhodes’s performance?

Mr. Rhodes has a great voice but seems like the editing was done in such a manner that it cuts off very quickly at the end of each of his sentences making it very robotic and ultimately Annoying!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

A waste.
