If you aren't naturally competitive, like me, it's always helpful to get some clues and tricks and tips if you have no real idea how to strategize. I don't. This book is really helpful in that arena. I recommend this book if you are not competitively inclined and you plan to do any kind of participation in competitions, even if it's ping pong.

Although the title of this audiobook suggests that it contains strategies for those facing specific competitions, such as games and sports, it's actually much wider than that in its approach and usefulness. 'Competitive strategy' looks at all aspects of life and how they can be honed in order to give us a competitive edge. It's really an audio for anyone wishing to be successful, whether they are competing in the market place, on a dating site, in the workplace environment, facing a circumstance of personal challenge - or indeed a sport or other competition.
Ace McCloud draws the listener into a comprehensive evaluation of their life in order to help them find areas for attention that will improve their competitive edge. It does give specific suggestions for those preparing to compete in an event, but there is much more than that here. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a concise probing of their lifestyle, attitudes and use of time, in order to discover ways to improve their performance in a highly competitive world.
The narrator reads clearly and with a positive enthusiasm, which helps to hold the listener's attention for long periods. I listened to this in just two sittings... but I wish I had made notes!

One of the most informative, mind-framing books I have ever listened to.
It needs focus and attentive listening...
