Publisher's Summary

The best leaders not only lead well but also reflect on their leadership long enough and thoughtfully enough to articulate what philosophies cause them to do so. Whether serving in the marketplace or in ministry, as executives or rank-and-file employees, as salaried staff or volunteer servants, they can pinpoint the rationale for their actions and decisions with the ease of reciting their home address.

Amazingly inspiring!

This has been one of the best purcahses I have made in a long time. I am only a third of the way through and I have already gone back to re-listen to sections.
Don't rush through this one--take your time so you enjoy what the author has to say. Much more importantly, his purpose is to inspire you to write your own Axioms--short phrases that concisely sum up wisdom gained from joyous or painful experiences so you can remember the lesson learned in a flash without having to relive the entire experience. Those Axioms then help in future decision-making.

A Must-Read for Any Leader

Hybels has done a remarkable thing in Axiom - he's melted-down seventy-six, tested and experience-based, real world leadership truths into 5-minute, readable and applicable chapters. I began incorporating these principles immediately and experienced instant, positive results. The short chapters make this is a great read for people who don't like to read! Leader, you owe it to yourself (and to those you lead) to digest this book!
