I appreciated the author narrating her own book; I feel more connected to the story, and to her as a person because of this.
As a mom entrepreneur, I was able to relate to many of Tisha’s stories, especially to those of the sometimes-struggle between how to define my role as a mom and wife, and how to define my role as a business owner. I appreciated how she bared her soul, to share the raw stories of her life...as a mother, wife, and business owner. While we have met virtually, I know we will someday meet in person, and I feel like it’s almost unfair just how much I know about her, but I guess that’s one of the reasons why she wrote this book...to let others in...to let others know her...to help others feel comfortable, knowing we are all human, we all struggle, and, yet, we all keep moving ahead...allowing our experiences to continue to create us. Great work, Tisha!
Would you listen to What Are the Odds?: A Mom Shares Her Good, Bad and What the F--K Moments in Life & Business again? Why?
Yes, because it's a great example of someone learning from their mistakes and never giving up!
What was one of the most memorable moments of What Are the Odds?: A Mom Shares Her Good, Bad and What the F--K Moments in Life & Business?
Most memorable for me was her explaining her marriage troubles. Not many people are willing to be that open and raw with a bunch of strangers.
What about Tisha Marie Pelletier’s performance did you like?
Her voice is LIKE BUTTER.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The story when she lost her beloved pet particularly struck me.
