Publisher's Summary

For half a century, people have debated the Kennedy assassination. Some claim that the Warren Commission got it right - that Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone-nut assassin. Others contend that Kennedy was killed as part of a conspiracy.
It is not the purpose of this book to engage in that debate. The purpose of this book is simply to focus on what happened at Bethesda Naval Hospital on the evening of November 22, 1963. What happened that night is so unusual that it cries out for truthful explanation even after all these years.
In this book you will learn that:
1. Kennedy's body was actually delivered to the Bethesda morgue twice, at separate times and in separate caskets.
2. Some photographs and X-rays from the autopsy went missing from the record, and other photographs in the record were forged or otherwise fraudulent.
3. The president's body was altered by tampering with the wounds before the autopsy took place.
And much more.

It's like you're in the thick of it.

What made the experience of listening to The Kennedy Autopsy the most enjoyable?

Kevin Pierce does an excellent job with the material. The authoritative voice gives weight to the facts being presented.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I was taken aback at the amount of inconsistency in the handling of Kennedy's body. I'm mainly a lover of history and not so much conspiracy theories. But this book, written by Hornberger backs up the data with references and court transcripts. Also, I did not know that Oliver Stone's movie "JFK" had such an impact of the public outcry for information that it actually inspired policy. I also did not know that there was a standoff between the secret service and medical examiners on how the body should have an autopsy.

This book puts you in the thick of it. And it is a fascinating thing to listen to.

Any additional comments?

I received this book in an exchange for an honest review. Thanks Audiobook Blast!

A thorough look at the medical evidence!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a great listen. Clearly lays out all the factual evidence available as well as different potential scenarios and explanations.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Kennedy Autopsy?

The most memorable moment was when the author put together a potential scenario that would fit with the evidence available. Nothing near to what we've been taught about JFK's death.

What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kevin Pierce nails this narration with just the right combination of authority, amazement, and wonder at what the evidence points to. I will definitely look for additional books narrated by Kevin Pierce.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Occam's razor states that the simplest answer is most likely the correct one. In reading this book I was amazed at the simple answer that the evidence indicates. When the author spelled it out, it just made sense.

A Most Commendable Introduction to the Facts

The Kennedy Autopsy provides the listener with an eminently sensible and very well structured introduction to a subject rife with conjecture, ludicrous speculation and controversy.

It is high time that we begin to confront the truth (and our own worst fears) and finally accept that the United States of America was subject to an internally organised coup at the highest levels of government in November 1963.

Approach this excellent audiobook with an open mind and finally be convinced that the Warren Commission had already determined its own unbelievable findings prior to the commencement of any witness testimony.

Only the truth shall set you free.
