Publisher's summary

Welcome to Conversations with Women CEOs & Leaders, where you'll learn how today's leading women in leadership claimed their confidence factor.

The visionary behind the movement, Carol Sankar, commenced the Confidence Factor for Women in Leadership research in 2011 after a long successful career in real estate and law, yet taking note of the lack of powerful women in profitable industries. She developed a private group of 100 women and asked the difficult questions about profit, asking for more, and gaining access to elevated opportunities in their career and business for four consecutive years and measured their growth.

As a result, she took her findings and started the Confidence Factor movement and round-table series for high-achieving women who feel the "plateau" of success. She realized the reason why women plateaued was due to lack of confidence.

The first book, The Confidence Factor for Women in Business, became an international best seller. Conversations with Women CEOs & Leaders includes personal and professional stories from leaders. Listeners will understand the obstacles that all women face in their journey, including Carol's journey breaking through the boundaries of women in real estate investing.

Learned a Few Things but not Particularly Exciting

I enjoyed the stories of women in leadership and even the trends of some of the pointers towards building and maintaining confidence. However, there were a stories few that really stood out, and the dedication to their content really showed when juxtaposed with the others. Overall it wasn’t a waste of time, but it also isn’t a book I would recommend either. I would definitely recommend maybe purchasing this book secondhand, but it is a nice leisure read.

Much needed!

I recommend this book to everyone, not just women but to those who love them to gain better insight on the hurdles we have to get over. The only suggestion I have is for Carol to consider narrating her own book. I watched her Ted talk and it would have been best to hear her talk about her own dialogue with these women. Overall, I appreciated hearing stories and felt inspired to take action and be persistent in my endeavors!

Didn’t like the narration

I understand it’s a conversation with women but it’s with the same narrator who sounds the same in every one of them. Not a natural conversation, very artificial. Couldn’t finish it.
