Where does Spirit Matters rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
A Big 5!
I’m a lover of real books, I like to touch and feel them, turn the pages, but Matt’s book - Spirit Matters via Audible has made me a believer in listening to story. It’s a special gift to be told a story directly by the author. It felt like I was right in front of him as he was telling me his story delving into his life as I was learning new things. He introduced me to his family, friends and his childhood as a carefree boy getting into mischief as curious boys do. I walked down the streets where he lived then he took me on his spiritual journey where I felt safe to go because he’d revealed his own spirit, one of loyalty and trust.
What did you like best about this story?
I love learning new things and I’m fascinated by Mother Nature’s humongous garden that of which Matt is a plant expert. He devours a ton of information and goes on to develop concoctions of special plants to help enhance his mind to take adventures through the spiritual door, to another place, another time and other dimensions. I found myself wanting to go with him. He is a natural teacher and there are subtle nuances in his voice that picked me up and placed me into in the jungle with him. Each experience takes him deeper into his spiritual path and he learns more about himself and the Universe than he could probably ever put into words on the page.
A must read or listen to take you places you might not have gone before and will make you hungry or at least curious to go deeper for yourself!
Which character – as performed by Matthew J. Pallamary – was your favorite?
Himself, because it was his journey.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but I finished it in four nights only because I value sleep. It was hard to put down.
Any additional comments?
More. Would love to know more about Matt's spiritual experiences.
