Juana Barraza is perhaps the most famous serial killer in all of Mexico's history. Authorities have attributed the death of up to 48 elderly women in Mexico to Juana, and she was found guilty in 2008 of several murders and was sentenced to a total of 759 years in jail for her crimes. Referred to as Mataviejitas, or Little Old Lady Killer, Juana's killing spree and the subsequent police investigation became national news in Mexico in 2007 and 2008, and led to widespread pressure on the police department to solve the series of crimes against the nation's most vulnerable members of society.

I am fascinated by Serial Killers. This one works!
I would listen to it again to hear the names of the many different people that lost their lives to this woman. They were very trusting, most of them were.
I didn't have a particular favorite character. I was truly mystified that Juana was able to go on as long as she was undetected until she made her mistakes and got caught. So many people were very trusting. Makes me want to keep my doors locked.
This person sounded enthused about telling the story. The words were clear and concise. I appreciate that in an audio book.
The title is fine.
I enjoyed it. I wouldn't have minded it being a little longer, but I still liked it.
