Publisher's Summary

Tony Dungy's words and example have intrigued millions of people, particularly following his victory in Super Bowl XLI, the first for an African American coach. How is it possible for a coach, especially a football coach, to win the respect of his players and lead them to the Super Bowl without the screaming histrionics, the profanities, the demand that the sport come before anything else? How is it possible for anyone to be successful without compromising faith and family? In this inspiring and reflective memoir, Coach Dungy tells the story of a life lived for God and family - and challenges us all to redefine our ideas of what it means to succeed.

Grounded Human Being

This was a peaceful listen! Coach Dungy has a wonderful calming voice. His message, as told through his life's unexpected turns, are easy to relate to and give the listener confidence to trust in God more.

Coach Dungy is a religous man, and usually I don't care to be preached to. But he never imposes his faith on the listener and his message is a spirtual one that supersedes any specific organized religion.

If I were a football player, I would want to play for Coach Dungy. We need more individuals in this world with Coach Dungy's character, humility and generosity. I definitely have new found respect and admiration for this man. Would love to meet him one day!

I would strongly recommend this to a friend!

What a man

I have admired Coach Dungy, but all I can say is what a man. He aspires to be the best Christian he can, and compromises nothing. He explains that family is first-what a breath of fresh air in a world where all you see and read is work, work, work!Thank you coach for setting the bar.
