Stanley grew up in the Virginia mountains and first learned music from his banjo-playing mother. buy this book!

This book is a must have for any Stanley fan or folk musician that wants to kniw where their music came from. After listening to this I am now planning a trip to the Clinch Mountains to see things for myself.
