Rienhard Bonnke is one of the most interesting men I have ever read about, and I'm an avid reader. 18th Century industrialist, tech tycoons, heads of state, if it's a bio about someone who has done something, I want to read it. I've read this about 4 times, it's so good! I can't put it down. I've given it to my non-christian friends. It's an entertaining read from running from the Russians at the end of WWII, to being a white German preacher in Africa. If you need to feel encouraged, inspired, and ready to do something big with your life, try this book. It's great!

I'm heading to Africa in a few weeks and found this book to be amazingly inspirational. How could I have never heard about this? Thank you, Reinhard Bonnke, for a life of ministry and for boldly sharing your God-stories for the benefit of all!

I have the book in print and when I discovered that an audible version was available, I jumped at getting it. To hear Pastor Bonnke narrating it, brings the book to life that little bit more. It's like he is reading it to me!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has the original print, or for those who have never read or encountered Bonnke's ministry; but has a desire to serve God.
Because of the size of this book, it can seem daunting to read- but this audible version makes it much easier to digest and understand.

A young boy in Germany is called by the true and living God to serve Him in Africa. Step by step, from small tentative beginnings as a boy, he eventually speaks to enormous crowds of African people who walk for miles and stand for hours, carrying their sick friends and relatives to hear the message and to be healed. Reinhardt listens to and obeys the voice of Jesus. This is his "secret" and is not easy, involving sacrifices which are greatly rewarded by the miracles which follow. Read by the author in his gentle German accent, you follow all the twists and turns, surprises and difficulties, as if there yourself. It is like hearing about the events of the Bible, in our times. Faithfulness, obedience and sacrifice are greatly rewarded. Do we dare to listen to and obey the voice of Jesus? What might happen if we truly did that? This is a story you just couldn't make up!

loved reinhards voice and how lively the stories were. challenged my understanding of healing a lot.
This is an excellent book, inspiring to hear of a lifetime lived in the Lords service. It was made even more memorable being read by the author. It imparted much encouragement to all whom long to see the kingdom extended by the harvest of souls, and the need to listen to and obey the voice of God. Can thoroughly recommend it to all committed Christians and those with questions about the life of an evangelist.
