The old way

Jack Welch is a brutal business man and this book glosses over that fact. Jack runs companies "the old way". His focus is purely on shareholder profits and his own profits above any good of his employees or workforce. This book sugar coats the surgical focus on improving a company by any means necessary while omitting much of the downsides of those choices.

Good Book

This book provides a broad look at what Jack Welch did at GE. It includes some the rationale for his decisions and an explanation of what that included, but really doesn't go much deeper than that.

Wish I listened to this along time ago

Great book really brought to life to me that what happened to GE then is still impacting businesses now. Jack must of been some guy and really value his commitment to get things done

Good business book, narrator a bit old fashioned

A good book, made a little harder to follow by the narrator. He has a somewhat stern approach to the narration which I found made it a little harder to follow.
