Good, not great.
Yes. I bought this audiobook because the real book was too long, and I didn't have enough time to read it all.
Yes and no. I wish this book had just been a summary of the real book, instead it had a lot of extra information and sections that I was not interested in. I would have liked it to be set up like the first part is a summary, then all the extra info is at the end.
The reader did fine, nothing special.
The story was very moving. I was surprised at the quality of the slave narratives we read in class, they were all very well written.
Read the real book if you have time, this was good for my assignment in class.
