What a wonderfully written story about an extraordinary woman and her really extraordinary experiences
The afterword is also extremely insightful, and so angry (I love that), adding a lot of context
Author gives no moral judgment to Shirley, presenting things as they were and through her own interpretation of their life, and it’s told in a phenomenal, engaging way
