Publisher's summary

Blood streaming down the rain-slicked mast of a schooner foundering in a squall... Dodging Russian warships in dense fog off North Africa... Cockroaches in an Algerian emergency clinic... Dazzling sunrise over a breathtaking sea... And salvations, the ultimate reward that swells the reservoir of joy.

Dawn Passage is an inspiring odyssey of six people who turn a dilapidated schooner into a floating church to help evangelize on one of Earth's most beautiful regions: the Greek Islands of the Aegean Sea. Fast, engaging, and colorfully told, this true story places you onboard the schooner Morning Star as she sails 7,000 miles across two oceans, visits nine countries, and continues today in full-time ministry. Dawn Passage is a warm, riveting account of the extremes of physical dangers from the outside and personal challenges from within.

Enjoyable

Good story, especially for those that love to sail and sea adventures. I enjoyed listening to the story while traveling to the Schooner I am working aboard.

Great story. Great Narrator.

Can't put it down. Love listening to these characters come to life as the story is told through the eyes of the author. I always love a good adventure book and this one hits the mark.

Captivating. Well written. Awesome adventure.

I loved every bit of every word of this story. The author knows what are you doing in constructing and wordsmithing the words in this book. A strike you and leave you wanting more. I liked how The author intertwined his personal experiences throughout the storyline and lead you on a path that is both personal and inspirational. It's a really great story in a really noble cause The MorningStar embarks upon and continues to fulfill in blessing the lives of young Christians everywhere.

I thought the performance was super fun in the audiobook, and I enjoyed each of the character voices throughout as the plot thickened...I especially liked the Scottish accent in one of the chapters when the author was asking about some kind of shrine they saw in Gibraltar.

If you like adventures and good people doing good things in the world this is a great book to listen to you!
