This is a story about a foster child who suffered a more subtle but very damaging kind of abuse. As with all of Cathy's books, she has a way of creating a warm feeling especially in regard to healing, family life, forgiveness and domestic life. I enjoy hearing about how her children relate to one another, how she deals with difficult situations and I honestly feel a real kinship with her on many different levels. This book goes more into her personal life than the others and I found this very comforting as I've experienced similar things.

This was another excellent book by Cathy Glass. I've read of situations like the one Beth lived with but never knew what it was called. Thankfully everone was able to get the help they needed. Again the story is written with warmth and compassion. Another great read.
I've down loaded loads of books. But this book I couldn't put down, its 1of those books that gripping from beginning to end.

a interesting book about about fostering a child with problems and how they help her and her dad get help to sort things out
I love what Cathy Glass do for children. Beth is a little girl that is not treated like a little girl. Things in her life is not right. When Cathy takes her in Cathy does not like what Beth and her father relationship is...... that is all I'm going to tell you. Cathy Glass is a great memoirs author. Denica Fairman reads the book well. 5 out of 5
