Publisher's summary

This is an amazing true story of a female civilian employee of the Army Corps of Engineers in Basrah and Nasiriyah, Iraq. She was riding in a truck with men when a roadside bomb destroyed the vehicle. Her body was so severely damaged, there was no possible way she could live. She vividly recounts her near-death experience when she went out of her body, to the spirit world. There it was decided that her work on Earth was not done, and with the help of spirit guides they repaired the body so she could reenter it. She retained the conscious memory of what happened, and during the time in the hospital more details returned. This is the amazing story of survival in wartime conditions. This has happened to many others in Iraq, but how many remember the spirit side of the experience?

Before this experience, Sudman was dubious about anything that smacked of the paranormal. This experience made her a believer. She shares her story here for the first time, to demonstrate that the paranormal is normal and to assist others who have had similar experiences.

This is an audiobook for anyone interested in near-death and out-of-body experiences. It is one of the first such books to come out of the Iraq conflict.

fantastic!!!

what a beautifully detailed description of a very powerful and life altering experience! I loved the way she hits home with how we can draw from our "whole self" and feather that into our seemingly very real experience on this 3rd dimensional exsistance here on earth. A wonderful narrator as well. I found if I slowed the tempo of the narration down just a bit, I could grasp more fully all the concepts that were being described and presented. Enjoy!

Moments in Between

Excellent account with thoughtful analysis. I plan on giving it additional listens as there is probably much more to hear.

Mind-blowing thoughtfully articulated journey.

Wow. Mind-blowing on so many levels. Thank you Natalie Sudman for sharing your full story so eloquently. The analogies helped to really understand the complexity of alternate realities. Glad you came back to share this incredible journey.

Heavy stuff with no fanfare

Any additional comments?

I bought this in both hardcopy and audible. Natalie makes it look easy to write and deliver such intense information clearly and succinctly. I am hoping she will write another book.

Can't get enough!

I really can't get enough of this audible book! I have listened to it 5 or more times and don't plan on stopping yet. Not only is the story intriguing and for me, even profound, but the narration by Jenna is outstanding. She skill in the reading makes this book so enjoyable. In my opinion, she sets the bar. Great book!

Assisted my understanding

This was a really comprehensive dive into consciousness and the oversoul and how things function within these realms. I appreciated the easiness of the writing and the real world examples given to cement understanding. Many of the concepts I’d already come to understanding through my own journey, but depth or color were added, and some concepts were new. I am left with a greater appreciation for that curious observer aspect of myself and a greater ability to pan out into the aspect of my conscious self where all the stuff my personality structure find so terrifying or important feel easy or even comedic. I highly recommend this read!

Enjoyed it and learned a lot!

This is an enjoyable and informative book about a Near Death Experience. Natalie Sudman, the author, has a pleasant sense of humor and a highly analytical mind. She provides considerable information about her time in the Afterlife--what it was like. Her descriptions provide more insights than the reports of many others because she seems to have gone deeper into the Afterlife rather than being turned away before really entering it.
