Publisher's summary

When Kevin West resigned from his job as vice president of a bank in 1998 after making fraudulent loans, he spent the time before his trial managing a family-owned, small grocery store in Ironton, Ohio. Dealing with serious marriage problems and with a prison sentence almost certainly in his future, Kevin was overcome with remorse and without a scrap of hope. It was at his lowest moment that Kevin called out to a power beyond himself for help, and God answered his prayer in the form of an elderly vagrant named Don.

When Don saw Kevin's open Bible on the counter next to the register, the untidy, long-haired indigent took the opportunity to share Bible wisdom and life-giving truths that changed Kevin's life. Finding a sense of peace in their conversation, Kevin offered Don a few basic groceries and an invitation to continue their conversation the next day. What began as a chance meeting between two individuals whose lives seemed headed for certain ruin turned into an unlikely bond of friendship that saved them both.

Couldn't Stop Listening!

This is one of the few books that has so touched my heart that I had a hard time separating myself from it. You want a true story that will help you to be a better person? To put your life in perspective? To learn from your mistakes? To know God always has a better plan? It's all in this book. Loved it!

If you could sum up Angel in Aisle 3 in three words, what would they be?

It was inspiring

The part that moved me was how if you trust in God he will open doors for you that you didn't know existed.

Any additional comments?

This book has been the best that I have listened to or even read in a very long time.

great book but the narrator and those voices were

so bad... he imitated the female voices terribly. the message was powerful though.. powerful enough to hold my attention through the bad voices...

Dont discount true wisdom regardless of the source

I am familiar with these places so it was an interesting book to me.
It also made me realize how much I would discount someones ideas by the way they look or present themselves.

I will say this book made a positive impression on me.

Sensitive and faith promoting story.

I Ann glad the author felt inspired to share his story of self-made tragedy and God's loving, and growth promoting rescue.
