I just listened to Rodney Saulsberry’s audiobook,” You Can Bank on Your Voice”. Needless to say, it is filled with a bounty of invaluable information and insight into the world of voice over. I believe this book offers information beneficial to beginning voice-over actors as well as seasoned pros. It also identifies what’s needed in one’s voice-over tool kit to be a successful voice-over actor.I cannot end this review without mentioning how Mr. Saulsberry uses his smooth, velvety, baritone voice to make listening to his book engaging, interesting, and entertaining—storytelling at its best. His performance demonstrates how to do an audiobook.

This audiobook was very informative and will read by the author. His performance as a voice-over actor was flawless.

Awesome Audio Book

I purchased the book many years ago. I now have the audio book in which I can listen to on the go!

Very educational, Inspiring, and Fun

The paperback is great, and this audio version is even better! Read by the author with examples of scripts so you can hear his interpretation and wisdom. I especially enjoyed the sound effects of the city traffic, for example, as you are transported into his world and experiences, which are nothing short of inspirational. It's like having a class I can take with me! Love it! Thank you Rodney Saulsberry for your contribution.

Smiling at myself when doing some of the tongue twisters...but when he said one of the best warm-ups was to "yawn"...well, that's my favorite!

What does Rodney Saulsberry bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I've read and listened to the book and both are invaluable. But in the audio you hear his passion for the craft.

Too many to list, really. It just moves you enough to want to hear it again.

Anybody who is in voice over, public speaking, broadcast, or anything that requires the spoken word will absolutely benefit from this great book.

Very Informative

I really liked the read it was great information to take with me as I give it my try at cracking through the voice over industry. I have already taken classes but now that I am catching some traction and wanting to further a career with voice over I want to know as much as possible about it. Mr. Saulsberry does a great job at explaining the business of voice over and what you could do NOW.

Quite good

it's quite good. but towards the end got more stories than I did about learning more. it was kind of a do this but don't be like that. most other books have that. learned a good chunk of it though.
