Publisher's Summary

In this new audiobook, broadcaster and music writer Alan Cross narrates the definitive history of Kraftwerk. Cross succeeds once again in revealing the fascinating history behind the music in the same compelling way we've come to expect from his long broadcasting career.

Audible Editor Reviews

Alan Cross is a self-described "professional music geek" and the author of numerous books about rock music, as well as this four-volume audio collection, The Alan Cross Guide to Alternative Rock. In the Kraftwerk edition, Cross is his usual friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate self when describing the life and influence of the German band that he terms "sound chemists".
Cross has a tendency to pack a lot of material into a short span of time, but his honed radio disc jockey voice can thankfully handle the pace. Cross is always articulate, always interesting, and above all, always interested in the content of his audiobooks, and his enthusiasm is infectious both for dilettantes and music experts alike.
