Though there are plenty of opportunities for hiking in the empty inlands of the Pais Vasco, coastal sports like surfing and boating are the main activities, along with the unique Basque game of pelota and, of course, the adventures of eating. The Pais Vasco, with more gourmet restaurants and Michelin stars to its credit than any other Spanish region, is truly a culinary delight.

Very little information about Basque Country

Very little information about Basque Country
Very disappointing, dull narrative. Waste of time. The title should be Spain Tourist Phone Book.

Little info on Basque Country

This book was not what I as looking for. It as more of an overview of Spain with a little Basque Country detail toward the end.

Deceptive Tiitle

Not a bad book but most of it was Spain in general. Only the last few chapters were about the Basque Country.
This book would probably be better in print as there are many things that you're going to need to use the information provided. there are lots of restaurant reviews with addresses and phone numbers as well as directions to places with Highway numbers that you'll only remember if you have an incredible memory. It's probable that many of the restaurants aren't even in business or their ratings have changed as the book was published in 2012.
