A Dragonling's Haunted Halloween

During one of her many excursions exploring the palace, Cara Truman discovers a vast underground chamber that turns out to be the perfect place for her next invention. Soon, her dream of building the ultimate playground for the dragonlings is a reality.

When Abby laughingly mentions the new playground looks like the perfect place to have a Halloween party, Cara goes into high gear to create the perfect haunted house adventure for the babies. The fun kicks into high gear when the men discover what Cara has been up to and decide to "test" the playground first!

Cara has no idea that her new project would create a sense of panic, wonder, or hilarious consequences in the palace when she unveils it. Discover what happens when another Earth holiday is unveiled, with the help from a couple of mischievous goddesses, the symbiots, and dragonlings in A Dragonling's Haunted Halloween.

Night of the Demented Symbiots

The dragonlings and their besties are excited about the preparations for another Halloween holiday. As the night of the festival draws closer, the dragonlings, Roam, and Alice discover a threat to the newest members of their families: the Queen of the Demented Symbiots plans to send her minions to capture the newest babies and take them to the land of Halloween where she lives. With their parents busy organizing the huge festival for the people of Valdier in an underground cavern, the dragonlings and their friends are left with no choice but to prepare for the ultimate battle - to save Morah, Leo, and Hope from the Queen of the Demented Symbiots.

Join in a holiday adventure that you won't forget as the little ones use their special skills to protect their friends and family in Night of the Demented Symbiots.

Delightful

As all the dragonlings stories, they very well done. Funny, inventive, and just so much fun to listen to. David Brenin does an excellent job on the narrative of all the books. He makes them come to life. I enjoyed them all.

Magical

I love these mini stories.. I love that the woman are bringing their culture and holiday with them and saying it's for the kids but the kids are so young that it kinda go over their heads but the man are like big children and it's fun to see the holiday we celebrate every year through their eyes 👀 I really enjoy this book and I had missed them

Fun

I have not laughed so hard reading or listening to a book in a long time.
The imagination of the kids, the bond they have as friends is heartwarming.

David Benin dose another great job

The stories are fanciful, while still allowing the dragonlins and friends to grow and expand. There were opportunities in each novella contained to see the couples grow and connect further. There's a glimpse or two of possible future events.

David has been the perfect audio guide for the series. Each character have there own voice and the children sound like children and not adults trying too hard.

There was much to laugh and smile about.

Another Funny Bone Tickler

Anyone who can read or listen to these Dragonling stories and not get tickled. Has no sense of humor as far as I am concerned. And David Brenin narrates them perfectly. All of the little ones tricking their big warrior Dad's. Just tickled this old ladies funny bone. Specially when they are running around trying to solve where the little ones have disappeared to. Before their wives find out they are all on another adventure! I do not listen to these books when in public with earphones on. Why? Because people give me the strangest looks. And am afraid they think I'm off my rocker!! Keep them coming Susan you are a big hit with me!!

Adorable additions to the Series

Best enjoyed if you have read the first 5 books in the Dragons of Valdier series before "A Dragonlings' Haunted Halloween"; and read thru Twin Dragons before "Night of the Demented Symbiots". These 2 books were written in consecutive years, but are combined in this audio for consumer holiday enjoyment. Works for me - Adorable and enjoyable when you're in the mood for a non-horror Halloween experience. Still NOT children's stories;-)

These stories are hilariously cute!

The earth women are hiding a secret. They are converting the dungeon into a Halloween attraction park. The men are obsessed with finding out what they are doing. They have never heard of Halloween , so Trelon puts a tracker on Cara. When the men sneak out in the middle of the night to explore, they freak out when weird things start to happen. Of course the dragonlings are there and cause more havoc.
Nice novella to add to the many great books about the Valdier!

In the second story, the men are involved in Halloween this year. They are helping the women make a castle with a wicked queen. When the dragonlings overhear, they think a wicked queen is coming to take the babies. The women go on a shopping spree and leave the men in charge of the kids.
Because the dragonlings confuse a story that Cara is telling them with the theme park. They rig up booby traps throughout the nine different areas of the castle to stop the Queen and her minions. The men get to transverse through the traps in order to find the kids before the women return.
This story is hilariously cute!
