The Narrator Is Pathetic

I couldn't listen to this book. Something that should have been encouraging and uplifting was not worth listening to. The narrator can't read and has difficulty pronouncing words. His start and stop - stunted method of reading is sad. I won't get another book with him narrating.

Talented Author and storyteller

This is the story of women; women in one maternal line and how they lived, survived, had faith, worked hard and raised their daughters/families. From one generation to the next, this story continues down through the daughters. Through WWI, WWII, Vietnam and other strife such as the great depression.
The Author is so talented, she keeps the reader engaged and feeling part of the story, experiencing emotions of the characters.
It's a sad tale with so much hardship, so many things to overcome...it's a story of woman passing their faith in the Lord Jesus from one generation to the next and of passing their love.
Excellent! Well worth the time and listen! It' is a faith-inspiring novel(s) that is sure to stir desires of your own life!

Worth The Listen

Have listened to all of the series and they are good stories. The music between stories isn't needed.

The Story Line Isn't As Good As Previous Stories

We have listened to all the of the series but this story isn't as well written as the others. Still worth listening to just a bit disappointing. Maybe the author has too many projects under her various pen names.

Great Story!

Helps to tie the first story to this one, a continuation of the first. Love small town stories, mysteries in small town give you so much more of the characters imagery.

Wily O'Reilly - Great Stories

Loved the whole series. Humour, easily followed, you want to know what is next. The characters are awesome and fit well together. O'Reilly makes the stories and Patrick Taylor is an awesome author and story teller.

Love his writing. Have listened to a lot of his work read by different narrators, all of it is great. Light, great humour.

Awesome Teaching!

I love teachings on the 23 Psalm, but this is the best I have heard yet. I would highly recommend this to any one wanting to understand the 23 Psalm more. This Psalm isn't really intended for funerals, it is a way of understanding life with the Lord as our shepherd.
