Wonderful!!!

I loved this book! The story was biblically accurate, and gave insight and detail to Joseph’s life. The only downside to the book was that it ended. I wanted to know more of Joseph’s life after Asenath.

I would recommend this book to everyone.

Good YA story

This was a good story. I would like to know Ren’s history and to learn more about Merrill as well.

Almost 5 stars

I loved the story, even with some of the discrepancies. For instance, the bodies were burned in the woods, not buried in a muddy road. And the main character was an idiot. How could he not have figured out he was being betrayed sooner? The performance was wonderful, as always. Paul Michael is one of my favorites. He blends into the background, so to speak, in a way that enhances the experience without overshadowing the story.

I was hooked from the beginning. The story line was original and well written. The performance was spot on. I can't wait for book two!

Confusing

I was very confused. There wasn't enough explanation as to how Brother Dust came to be. I felt like I had been dropped into the middle of a story. I needed more background. I enjoyed the premise of the story, but I felt that the characters were not fleshed out well. They were not consistent.

Ready for book 2!

This story was a little slow grabbing my attention, but once it did, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I need to know what happens to Rafe next!

Good read

I enjoyed this book. The plot was interesting and the ending was unexpected. My copy repeated itself a several times. Maybe it was just my copy. I would like to have learned more about the Moses in the story.

How was this an evolutionary shortcut?

I really wanted to love this, but I guess I missed the message of the story. Interesting premise but slow and not enough conflict.

TOO MUCH DETAIL!

The dialogue was extremely stilted due to the excessive and unnecessary amount of detail. The premise of the story was interesting but I struggled to get through it. I would be afraid to try anything else from this author.
