About time

Finally another book by Monica Ferris. It’s been far too long. Certainly hope it won’t be so long until the next one. Just love these Betsy Devonshire stories.

Love BUT

Get rid of this ridiculous love triangle. All it does is compete negatively with the plot. It isn't even believable and makes Dev nothing but a shallow, conniving, man eating bitch - which she is not.

Dreadful

Awful story, compounded by the worlds worst narrator. Don’t waste your money or time on this one. I think this usually decent series has finally hit rock bottom

He’s gone! Yeah!

Ross was a huge mistake from the get go. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Now maybe we can get back to normal.

God Awful

Usually love Ellery Adams, but not this time. This is just one giant whine fest. Characters are blah and impossible to connect with. With all the constant whining going on, it nearly impossible to keep up with the mystery ploy, what little there is. This book is a total downer. Give it a skip

Pleasant surprise

Only bought this because it was on sale. Turned out to be well worth it. Interesting and quirky characters combined with nicely intertwined plot lines. An all round enjoyable read.

Ugh!

Bought this because the blurb sounded ok and it was on sale. BIG MISTAKE. Granted the book was set in Ireland, but the narrators accent was almost indecipherable; the characters confusing, flat, and totally lacking in likability. And the plot- well that would be best described as totally lacking. No matter the cost, give this one a pass!!!

Awful

Worst entry in an otherwise good series. Certainly hope this is not a trend. A delightful series with this exception. Please no more. Go back to the original formula!

Best yet

Normally a delightful series, but has been becoming predictable. However, this one is terrific. May be the best one ever. Great plot, quirky characters, and interesting conclusion. If you only read one of these titles. Then this is definitely the one. Great narrator as well.

Awful. Give it a pass

Dismal entry in an otherwise delightful series. Only recognizable because of the character names. The usually rich characters were one dimensional, shallow and boring. The plot was nearly nonexistent and way too convoluted to hold interes
