Over produced

The story they told was only mildly interesting about a vaguely unpleasant man. It seems that they tried to dress it up with over done production effects and tinkly music.

Lame!

I can't remember listening to a weaker story. Had I not been flying I would have stopped and deleted!

Tedious

Tedious! I persisted with this because I enjoyed all the other Mary Russell audiobooks so much. I wish I had given up when I first became bored by the excessive description and the lack of forward motion to the story. Where was the mystery, the intrigue -- the plot?! A huge disappointment.

The best book I've listened to in a long time

This recording has it all, a good story and a really great narrator. I'm looking for other books by Kaminsky and especially other performances by Ferrone. Ferrone reading really brought Abe Lieberman to life.

Embarrassing

I forgot just how embarrassingly silly these Lt Dallas books are. I'll make a note so I never again get one.

Lame

I should have know better. The story is lame and the performances of the two narrators are only marginally better.

A really enjoyable book

This is an intelligent, stylish and enjoyable book superbly performed by a very skilled reader. It couldn't have been better.

Lame

Well, it was cheap. I guess I now know why it was on sale. It started well enough (for airplane fare), but grew increasingly preposterous. The writing is embarrassingly bad.

This is unadulterated garbage

What disappointed you about The Tehran Initiative?

This book and everything by the guy should carry a warning label: propaganda by the unhinged Christian radical right wing,

What could Joel C. Rosenberg have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Nothing

How could the performance have been better?

Worst ever!

Would you ever listen to anything by Allen Dusk again?

No, terrible trash. I guess he's trying to be a Carl Hiassen-type writer, but this guy doesn't have the style or sense of humor.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rose Caraway?

Anyone. She's a terrible narrator. She shouldn't quit her day job!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The book cost $3.95 and that was much too much.
